| The Thomas Ewing Society
The Ohio University Alumni Association’s Thomas Ewing Society was inaugurated Commencement Weekend, June, 1958. The purpose of the Society is to honor alumni leaders who served as former members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
The first chairman of the Society was Carr Liggett, class
of 1916. Today, the Thomas Ewing Society has more
than 312 members who continue to provide leadership
throughout all levels of university affairs.
