Chapter-sponsored Charter Buses
Bus transportation for Sibs Weekend is one of the many events our chapters host to raise scholarship funds, as all proceeds benefit the chapter’s scholarship. Chapter scholarships send a local area student to OHIO. Currently, charter buses are available from Akron and Cleveland. These two womens chapters have been established for more than 60 years and have been working with Sibs Weekend for over 15 years. Round trip tickets on chapter sponsored buses are $75 per person, and each bus has chapter volunteers that act as bus chaperones. Click on your city below for registration details.
Your child will be supervised by a qualified adult for the duration of the bus trip; however, we [Ohio University Alumni Association] assume no responsibility for your child while he or she is visiting in Athens. Children under 10-years-old should not travel alone. Parents/guardians are strongly urged to speak with their OHIO student before sending siblings to Athens for Sibs Weekend. (The welfare and safety of the visiting sibling is the total responsibility of the OHIO student.)
