Professional Accomplishments:
Melissa Cardenas is the current Director of Academic Quality Assurance for the Ohio Board of Regents, coordinating and implementing state higher education policy initiatives. As a representative of the agency on the Educator Standards Board, the Foreign Language Advisory Council and the Literacy Specialist Endorsement Program Advisory Council, Melissa has experience working with non-profit boards of directors as well as national and statewide higher education stakeholders. Prior to her move to the Ohio Board of Regents office, Melissa worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Ohio University.
