License Plate Program

What shows your OHIO pride wherever you drive, has more visibility than a window decal, and is more permanent than a bumper sticker?

The Ohio University Alumni Association license plate.

Currently, Ohio University logo plates are available only in Ohio. If you live outside of Ohio, add an OU decal to your car. License plate frames are in the works!

The Ohio University license plate is a special plate.
Special Plates are any license plate manufactured especially for the customer. Logo plates are special plates, and are for customers who wish to support a particular college, environmental or other special interest group. Additional annual fees for special plates can range from $10 to $70.

The Ohio University license plate requires an additional $35 fee.

This special plate fee is charged annually. The extra fees for the collegiate license plate goes toward the scholarship fund of Ohio University.

You may at any time go back to a standard issued license plate, however, you will not receive a refund of the fees paid.
