Primary Job Responsibilities for onsite photography
- Proficient skills in on site photography for events. Assignments will also include outdoor and indoor sessions of campus areas, buildings, greens, etc mostly for timely uploads to Facebook and OUAA Web photo galleries
Primary Job Responsibilities for the Bobcat Store
- Proficient in commercial photography, product lighting and have access to a photography studio (or suitable space) and lighting equipment
- Employees at the Ohio University Alumni Association will provide the merchandise that needs shot, as well as a suggested order for product shooting
- Excellent skills in Photoshop
- Color correct and tone photos as needed
- Prepare scaled files for print, Web and HTML media, as needed
- Name files correctly within established system
- Proficient as a photo editor
Primary Job Responsibilities for OUAA Photo Archive
- Proficient in photo archive management and related photo management applications
- Establishing and maintaining a system for all photo archive needs: OUAA and chapter/society events; Alumni Awardees; Board Members, past and present; volunteers; and The Bobcat Store
Skills/Qualifications
- College junior or senior standing recommended
- Well-organized and good communication skills
- Ability to research/prioritize/multi-task/problem-solve
- Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Positive attitude; understanding of importance of ethics, details and deadlines
- Enthusiastic team player who is also capable of working independently
- Video experience/editing a plus, but not required
