The Bobcat Court consists of five men and five women. Each member of the Court must be a senior and can be nominated by any OHIO faculty/staff or student, you can also nominate yourself.
The Bobcat Court Selection Committee will narrow the applications to a pool of finalists, and interviews will be scheduled with all the finalists. The interviews will take place on Friday October 7, 2011. Following the interviews, the Bobcat Court Selection Committee will determine the ten students who will comprise the Bobcat Court. The Bobcat Court will be introduced at the Homecoming Kickoff on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 6 p.m.
Throughout the week of Homecoming, the Bobcat Court members will be expected to attend various events, and the entire student body will have the opportunity to vote on who should become the 2011 Homecoming King and Queen. The King and Queen will be announced at the Yell Like Hell Pep Rally on Friday, October 14, 2011.
All Bobcat Court members will be expected to attend Homecoming events throughout the week including:
- Homecoming Kickoff, Monday, October 10
- Hockey Game, Wednesday October 12
- Yell Like Yell Pep Rally, Friday, October 14
- Homecoming Parade, Saturday, October 15
- Homecoming Football Game, Saturday, October 15
An informational meeting will be held for all students interested in applying to be on the Bobcat Court. This will take place Friday, September 16, 2011 from 4-5:00 p.m. in Baker University Center, Room 231.
