Student scholarships do more than just bring the best and brightest to Ohio University - they help keep them here. In academic year 2007-2008, for example, 52 percent of first-time students received institutional aid and scholarships. Legacy Scholarship, started in 2003, helps children and grandchildren of Ohio University alumni continue the Bobcat tradition. Ohio University has a long tradition of generations of families sharing the Ohio alumni experience. Alumni Association and Affinity Group Scholarships support students associated with that particular affinity group based on geography, college, school, or special interest.To make a donation to an Alumni Association or Affinity Group Scholarship, click here and make your choice from the listed chapters and/or societies.
Appalachian and Urban Scholars Programs Scholarships
Appalachian and Urban Scholars Programs Scholarships support students with high financial need from areas in urban and Appalachian Ohio. In addition to a renewable scholarship, these students receive individual mentoring, tutoring, academic support and a book stipend.
