are geographically based alumni groups and can help you get connected

on each chapter’s web page so you can touch-base when you need to.

Society Networks
An
alumni society is based on college, department, major, or special
interest. Participating in a society is another great way to stay
connected to Ohio University.

The [Gateway]
The
alumni association has its own private social network called The
[Gateway], which is similar to Myspace and facebook, but unlike those,
this one is exclusive to Ohio University alumni. Registered
members can use the site to find alumni in other states or countries,
in specific businesses or industries, or with similar interests or
backgrounds.
Want to find opinions on the best neighborhood or
restaurant in Chicago or Charlotte? Find alumni on The [Gateway] and
ask. The [Gateway] is a great resource for maintaining relationships
established on campus as well as expanding social networks to Bobcats
around the globe.
New graduates are encouraged to keep an eye on
their Oak e-mail accounts for their invitation. The [Gateway] requires
an alumni ID number which is only established after all of your credits

Online Directory
Keep
friends and alma mater informed about your whereabouts. With your
