• Ohio University School of Art Faculty Exhibition Reception
  6–8 p.m. / Kennedy Museum (The Ridges)
  This biennial exhibition of original works by Ohio University School of Art faculty (teaching, Emeriti and retired) presents artwork from a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, prints, photography, graphic design, drawing, and new media such as video and installation art.

Saturday April 14, 2012

• Athens International Film + Video Festival
  All Day

• Cocktail Reception at Baker Center Ballroom
  6 p.m. / Cocktails & Hors d'oeuvres
  Raise a glass with alumni from all of the Schools in the College of Fine Arts. Enjoy reconnecting with peers and faculty and toast to CoFA’s 75 years of creative work.

• Celebration Procession
  7:30 p.m. / Across College Green to Memorial Auditorium
  The green will be filled with live open-air performances: dance, music, visual art, and theatrical happenings to enjoy as we make our way to Memorial Auditorium.

• College of Fine Arts 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Arts
  8 p.m. / Memorial Auditorium
  The College of Fine Arts 75th Anniversary Celebration is the culminating event for our 75th Anniversary. The program will be a celebration featuring outstanding performances and presentations by renowned artists in dance, theater, music, film, visual, and interdisciplinary arts. The production will honor the faculty at College of Fine Arts whose teachings have inspired many lives.

The Arts Alumni Advisory Board Breakfast
9:30 a.m. / Walter Hall Rotunda
The Arts Alumni Board will host a bagels-and-coffee breakfast for all alumni. At this breakfast the Arts Alumni board would like to take the opportunity to inform Alumni on how they can be involved in continuing to support the Ohio University College of Fine Arts.

• Tickets for the Celebration Performance on Saturday, April 14, may be purchased at Memorial Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.

All weekend we will be celebrating the teachers that inspired our lives. Honored faculty include

• School of Dance: Gladys Bailin, Madeleine Scott, Mickie Geller, and Marina Gobins Walchli
• School of Theater: Denny Dalen, Bob Winters, Holly Cole, Bob St. Lawrence, Laura Parrotti, and George Sherman
• School of Film: George Semsel, Ruth Bradley, John Butler, David Thomas, Rajko Grlic, and Jack Wright
• School of Art: Current and former faculty featured in a special exhibition, and a special lecture by retiring professor Aethelred Eldridge
• School of Music: Celebrates its history with events saluting former directors, current and past faculty and will feature performances by the Marching 110, Singing Men of Ohio, Section 8 and Title 9. Additionally, the orchestra will perform works by Mark Phillips and Peter Jarjisian. 
• School of Interdisciplinary Arts: Current graduate students are invited to participate in a national conference, and later there will be a salute to William Condee with a performance.
