Charlotte Networking Week

The Charlotte Chapter of the Ohio University Alumni Association is proud to host the 7th Annual Charlotte Networking Week in Charlotte, N.C on February 18-19.

Approximately 1,400 Bobcat alumni are proud to call Charlotte home and want to invite current OHIO students to consider it for their post-collegiate lives. The Networking Week will include Professional Session throughout Thursday and Friday, Annual Alumni Banquet, an Alumni Happy Hour, and a basketball game between the Charlotte Bobcats and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The main focus of this event is the interaction between OHIO alumni and current students that will take place at the Annual Alumni Banquet. Approximately 100 current students will have the opportunity to see what life and business is like in the Queen City. The student cost is $40 per person which includes the two day sessions, dinner and happy hour while the basketball game is an additional cost of (for students) $30. The Alumni Banquet is $40 (per alumnus) and basketball game tickets are $50 per person. Mike Crum, an OHIO Sports Administration alumnus who is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, will be the keynote speaker. Also, Graham Stewart, Executive Director of the Ohio University Alumni Association, will offer a University and Association update. All proceeds will go to the Ohio University Carolina Scholarship Fund to send a Carolina student to Athens.

Please contact TJ Simonik 704-576-1219 or by emailing thomas.j.simonik@gmail.com for questions.

This is a great opportunity for current students to see where OHIO can take you in life. Alumni will have to chance to reconnect with fellow alumni and benefit current students with their knowledge of life post-"OU." A win-win situation for all involved!
