Bromley Rooms - Sold Out!

Charter Bus from Cleveland
Attention alumni from the 1950s and 60s!
LaWanna McKinley White '65 is coordinating a chartered bus for fellow alumni 60 years and older who live in or near Cleveland, or can drive or fly into Cleveland. The bus can pick up passengers at Cleveland Hopkins Airport at 10:30 a.m. Friday, and drop off on Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
- Cost is $50 per person, round trip. (Refreshments included.)
- Any seats unsold by March 15 will be opened to anyone, any age.
- RSVP deadline is May 1, 2010.
- No refunds; replacements accepted.
Friday, May 21
- Board: 9:30 a.m. at Beachwood Place parking lot, near Saks
- Depart: 10 a.m. sharp!
- Arrive in Athens: approximately 1:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 23
- Board: Noon -1 p.m. (Pick-up at Athens hotels schedule TBA)
- Depart: 1 p.m.
- Return: Arrive at Beachwood Place at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Greetings Black Alumni Network,
As a newer member of the Bobcat Family, I am eagerly awaiting the Triennial Black Alumni Reunion (BAR). Excitement and anticipation is filling the air for BAR weekend 2010! On May 21-23, 2010, our campus will be transformed as you all descend on Athens and Ohio University’s campus. The weekend will be spent reuniting, reminiscing and walking the paths you once did during your time at OU.
As you start your countdown, please support the Urban Scholars Program by joining Dr. Childs in saving ONE DOLLAR a day to help us reach our goal of $45,000. The students, faculty and staff are looking forward to seeing everyone in May and so am I. I have asked the planning committee to allow me the opportunity to meet with you and share our vision and mission for Diversity, Access and Equity at OU.
