Recently, the Society of Advocates and the Ohio University Alumni Association formed a partnership, presenting an exciting opportunity for all alumni and friends of the Bobcat Nation, especially those with an interest in government.

With this new partnership, the Society will continue to issue alerts and a quarterly newsletter. However, in order to receive this newsletter, you must register for the new Society of Advocates Listserv by following the instructions below.

As a part of this listserv, you will receive State Legislative News Updates, occasional Action Alerts, event updates, as well as resources for finding a career and getting involved with the public sector. The Alumni Association encourages you to sign up to be an Advocate for Ohio University. You have our word that we are taking every precaution to keep your information safe, and we will only contact you when legislation is pending on issues that impact Ohio University and the region (such as government funding for higher education).

The Society of Advocates works to promote the general welfare of Ohio University by creating and promoting meaningful opportunities and relationships for Ohio University students and alumni and advocating for the University in government and political arenas. When you become an Advocate for Ohio University, you use your voice to support Ohio University and the southeastern Ohio region.
